Mponela's story

Mponela S. is a married man who has a business in Tanzania. He runs a food shop at Yombo Vituka in Dar es Salaam. He sells a variety of groceries including cereal crop products such as wheat flower and maize flower, as well as groundnuts (peanuts), beans, cashew nuts, cooking oil and sugar. He purchases his goods from wholesale shops and also directly from producers. Mponela meets his family's daily needs from his business income.
