Triunfo Group's story

In a peculiar community in the State of Mexico, there is a group named Triunfo (Triumph). The name comes from the wish the members have to improve themselves. They all want to better themselves to be able to improve their quality of life.

Don Mario is a very hardworking man who always seems very happy, just as much with the people who know him as with the people who don't. He is married and has lived with Señora Emma for 28 years and together they made a family with four children who are totally independent. All his life he has dedicated to business, in the beginning with the sale of plastics and later with footwear given that the earnings were better. He was able to make the initial investment thanks to the savings he put together while working in the American union.

Together with his wife he sells merchandise in plazas, street markets, markets, among other sites in his community. For now one of his wishes is to be able to construct a very big store so that his clients would be able to observe his product in detail. Nevertheless no dream is realized without effort and because of this 15 years ago he started the construction of eight stores; having puchased land, obstained the permissions, and acquired the material which cost him a lot but he knows that the reward will be worth the effort.

Currently his projects are going extremely well; "This is thanks to the loans given by VF Mexico because each time we receive a loan we are able to invest in our business and in this way with the earnings we can elevate our stores," he said very enthusiastically. With this new support he will purchase more shoes and sufficient material to finish the construction he started.
