Zoya's story

Zoya E. is 69 years old and has three children. She graduated from Pedagogical University and worked as a teacher of the Russian language for 33 years. Her colleagues characterize her as a very optimistic and responsible person. Now she is retired and earns her living through breeding cattle.

Zoya got started in this business 20 years ago when her family needed additional earnings to cover their expenses. Thanks to her persistent and hardworking personality, Zoya managed to make her business successful and today earns about 8,000 KGS monthly. Using the revenue from reselling fattened livestock, she was able to hold daughter’s wedding.

Zoya plans to use this loan of 100,000 KGS to broaden her business by purchasing more cattle. With the revenue from this investment, Zoya plans further development of her farm.
