A loan helped a member to buy meats, vegetables, condiments, dressings, and baked goods.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The Mujeres Unidas committee began with the initiative of a group of relatives who live in the city of Itá, who heard about the Entreprising Women Committee Program through their neighbors, who actively participated and worked. It is a new committee where everyone is trying to get ahead together.

Fatima is one of the members of the committee, she earns a living selling food and also works as a housekeeper in a family home. She has been working at her establishment located outside for about a year, where her entire family helps with the different activities the business involves. She opens her establishment every day in the afternoon since in the morning she works as a housekeeper in a house in the neighborhood; meanwhile, her family already buys everything she needs to make her products and thus always offer the best products to her clients.

She is requesting this loan to buy wholesale meats, vegetables, condiments, dressings, and baked goods so that she can continue preparing food.
