This group consists of three women who maintain a strong relationship and live in the same neighborhood. They seized the opportunity to join the women's group when it was established in May 2001. They are mainly involved in the business of selling various products.
Mme Aminata, who is in the picture, is the group representative. She is married, 46, and has 8 children who are all in school. She has been selling peanuts, peanut paste and palm oil for several years.
With this loan, she plans to increase her stock of supplies that she will sell in her neighborhood.
The profits will be used to cover daily expenses but also for the education and health needs of her children.
