Anonymous Group's story

The group was created in July 2014 when the bancs villageois started. This group is made up of 4 members who live together. They have good group cohesion and are active in trade.
The woman standing on the right of the photo, with the raised hand is the representative. She is 36 years old, married, and mother of 3 children including 2 girls.
She has been trading clothes since joining the group. She gets her supplies in the market of the Senegalese capital and develops her business in her locality.
With her loan, she will buy clothes for women between the ages of 13 and 20, which she sells at home. Her clientele is made up of her neighbors.
The profits generated by her work will be used to cover the school fees of her children and to strengthen her savings.
