A loan helped a member to buy corrugated metal sheets, nails, and wood in order to replace the roof of her house.

El Tecolote Group's story

Blanca Lidia is a 25-year-old single mother with a five-year-old child. She has no relatives who live abroad. Blanca Lidia works informally as a household domestic so that she can generate income to meet her financial responsibilities. However, her income is not sufficient to make improvements to her home. For this reason, she is requesting a loan to buy corrugated metal sheets, nails, and wood.

With this investment, Blanca Lidia plans to replace the roof of her home so as to avoid damage during the winter season. She will be able to provide her family with a decent and secure home.

Blanca, Marleny, Evelyn, Claudia, Aracely, and Deysi make up the solidarity group “El Tecolote”. They are responsible and enterprising people who seek to get ahead.

In this group: Marleny Del Carmen, Claudia Patricia, Evelyn Marleni, Blanca Lidia, Deysi Maricela, Aracely Esmeralda
