Salome is a customer of the IMF Hekima and the leader of the Lukoo village group. She is married, 47 years old, and the mother of 5 children who all attend school. Her partner is a retailer.
She sells medicine in a pharmacy. She started her business in 2006 with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima in order to strengthen her business, which is gradually progressing. She will use this new loan to buy generic and proprietary medications.
