A loan helped a member to purchase metal sheeting and beams.

Olivo Group's story

Karen Johanna is 23 years old and lives with her four-year-old daughter who depends on her financially and is her motivation to continue struggling. She does not have relatives abroad.

Karen works informally at an eatery in her community from Monday to Saturday from 7:30am to 5:00 pm. Thanks to this job, she can generate income for her household expenses.

But, this is not enough to be able to do home repairs, so she is asking for a loan to purchase metal sheeting and beams. This investment will help her to safeguard her house in the winter season and prevent damage. Karen dreams of offering her young daughter a good future and a decent house.

Karen, Roberto, Ana and Reina make up the Olivo solidarity group. They are responsible and enterprising people who seek the same end of getting ahead.

In this group: Karen Johanna, Reina Roxana, Ana Mercedes, Roberto Anderson
