A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Tuoch's story

Tuoch is a 49-year-old woman who lives with six other family members in a separated hut with access to electricity. Tuoch works as a local seller, but struggles with charcoal and energy expenses. She spends a total of USD 31 per month on all of her fuel and electricity expenses.

Tuoch bought the ACE One cookstove to help her family save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE One cookstove, please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
