Luz Marina's story

Luz is a hardworking, responsible women who is always thinking of the best way to increase her income. She started selling cosmetics in her community. Later she started a business selling food outside her home. With this business she has become a fundamental pillar for her loved ones.

Luz is familiar with the work these two institutions do. She feels satisfied, so much so that she seeks another Kiva loan, through MiCrédito, to buy perfumes, deodorants, body creams, shampoo, body splash, rice, beans, meat and oil. In the not-distant future she wants to have an eatery.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Laurie Hiller.
