Dora Alicia, age 58, lives in her own house with her husband, her son, and her grandson who are her dependents. She does not have help from abroad.
Dora has worked for four years making "pupusas" [stuffed tortillas] in her house, with hours from 7:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening. She does this very well, and it permits her to generate income to help with household responsibilities. But she wishes to stock her business, and so she requests a loan to buy beverages and corn. With this investment, she hopes to improve her [product] availability and increase her sales.
She dreams of having a stable and secure business, to get her family ahead.
Dora, Rosalba, and Cristina comprise the solidarity group "Las Cocinas". They are responsible people with the same goal of getting ahead.
In this group: Dora Alicia, Rosalba Carolina, Cristina De Los Angeles
