Paul thanks the Kiva lenders for their trust and for granting him the previous loan. The loan allowed him to increase the quantity of charcoal sold to his customers. His business is doing well, other dealers are buying from it. The savings were used to convert the straw roof into a tin roof.
In order to further increase the profit margin of the business, Paul plans to buy from producers in the forest and no longer rely on suppliers in the city. So Paul is asking for a new loan to rent a truck and to buy 55 more bags of charcoal.
His goal is to buy a piece of land in the future.
