A loan helped a member to buy livestock to resell to support his family.

Nim N*3 Group's story

Oumar is 51 years old and lives in a village in Mali. Married to two women, he is the father of nine children, aged 5 to 22. He is a farmer and also raises and sells sheep. For over five years, he has been in this business and has a great mastery of it.

Mr. Oumar gets his stock at the local markets and sells there too. He has been turning to RMCR for a few years to expand his business of raising and selling livestock. This enables him to make a profit of 45,000 francs CFA after each sale. The profits thus accumulated allow him to take care of his family regarding food, schooling, and renovating his housing.

Mr. Oumar is often confronted with some difficulties while raising and selling livestock, but there is no impact work from which he takes in most of his revenues.
