A loan helped us grow our business through inventory, our sneaker truck, and our online trading platform.

Myron's story

I come from a huge family where sneakers/streetwear were a luxury that we
couldn't afford. Growing up in The Bahamas and Miami, I garnered a love for
all things sports-related, especially sneakers and streetwear. This passion
fueled my work ethic, even cutting out pictures of the latest sneakers from
magazines and spending hours looking at sneakers on the computer. From
bagging groceries to selling candy, I found any way to save up for a pair I
needed to have.

Sneakers are more than just shoes, they're a part of your personal story to
those that appreciate them. No matter how my story changes, sneakers will
always be part of the tale. My method of acquiring sneakers involved
trading with other sneakerheads because I couldn't afford to buy them. We
want to open that avenue to everyone, everywhere. Swap Station encourages
everyone, anywhere, to step into their journey, feeling good and expressing
their style. Swap Station was founded to level the playing field and allow
everyday people the ability to use their sneakers as currency.
