A loan helped to help cover expenses during the Covid period and to assist in ‎buying new stock and paying for small renovations.

Samiha's story

Samiha is a mother of six grown children. She owns a mini-market in her ‎town, which she opened in 2014. At first she had just a few shelves of ‎products but she has expanded her business over the years, providing products needed in ‎her area, saving customers the need to travel to the nearest city for day to day ‎items. She also has an area of the store which sells sandwiches, pitot and ‎snack items.‎

Samiha needs this loan to help cover expenses during the Covid period and to assist in ‎buying new stock and paying for small renovations.‎

In the future, Samiha wants to expand the food and snack sales and separate ‎the two businesses so customers can choose either the mini-market or the ‎snack store.‎

This loan is special because:

It's designed to help some of the most marginalized people in Israeli society.
