08- Koute Diomboulou Group's story

This banc villageois was founded in May 2009. It is made up of this group of nine women who live in the same village. They work in retail which is their primary income-generating occupation. They are dynamic and mutually supportive.

Madame Mariama, 43 years old, is divorced and the mother of three children. She has two others in her care. With her new loan, she plans to buy tea, sugar, and detergent to resell. The profits will serve to augment her savings and to ensure the education and health of her children.
