A loan helped to buy tools and cloth for her tailoring business.

Nawal's story

Nawal is a 38-year-old Syrian woman and a mother of four kids. Her husband is a daily worker who does different jobs in the Syrian camp. Nawal has a tailoring business to support her family financially.

Being a responsible mother of four kids, Nawal had the idea of starting a simple business so she bought a sewing machine and started offering tailoring services to people who live around her area. But due to the limited income source, she could not support the business with tools and cloth.

A loan of 500 JOD, Nawal believes, will let her run her business again by covering the expenses of all the tools and cloth she needs. She will be able to provide more services and get more clients.

Nawal's dream is owning a small shop in the camp to help more people.

This loan is special because:
