A loan helped to buy groceries for her baking business.

Nonga's story

Nonga ia 47 years old. She is a mother of eight children and a wife of a carpenter. Long before her husband got his job, Nonga had started her business. It started with an underground oven; she baked only buddings and Tongan bread. As modernization occured, she purchased a small oven. With that, she could bake cakes and pies, but only one at a time. Year-by-year, she developed the equipment used for her business and managed to purchase a larger oven that helps a lot with her business. She even bakes and decorates birthday cakes to meet the customers' needs.

Now that her husband got a job, she still runs her business to make her own money and pay for her children's school fees. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy groceries for her baking business. Her dream is to have her own bakery store where her talent would be displayed.
