Krystal's story

I grew up in Gilroy, the garlic capital of the world. As a child, I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents who owned many businesses in the town. Unbeknownst to me, I was surrounded by entrepreneurs who always showed great generosity and exhibited an unparalleled work ethic.

One of my earliest memories is spending time at my grandparent’s farm enjoying fresh fruit from their trees, delicious homemade mole and my grandmother’s home cooked meals. It wasn’t until recently that I realized the role my grandparent’s played in my entrepreneurial quest to create the best fresh-tasting michelada mix. Since the passing of my grandfather, nobody else in my family has taken the spirit of entrepreneurship on, until it landed at my feet with Micho & Mary.

What I visualize for my future is not only paying it forward but inspiring and mentoring and giving guidance to those who want to start their own business. I see myself owning several other businesses along with a citrus farm where I can continue my grandparent's traditions of bringing family and friends together.
