A loan helped to buy replacement parts for her sewing machine, as well as fabric to make clothing.

María Esperanza's story

María is an enterprising woman. Her husband divides his tim between the church, farming, and livestock. She has 3 children, who are in school.

María has a small shop where she makes items of clothing, such as dresses, uniforms, pants, blouses, and suits for parties.

She was previously helped by 3 loans and paid them off successfully. She needs a new loan to buy replacement parts for her sewing machine and fabric to make clothing.

Her dream is to always support her husband and her children, to grow her shop and improve her quality of life.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Ellen Donohue.
