A loan helped to purchase a box of tools for repairing vehicles.

Carlos Orlando's story

Carlos studied until the first year of high school. His wife does the housework and takes care of backyard poultry, pigs, and cattle. They have two children, one of whom attends school.

Carlos has been working since he was five years old, in a general mechanics shop of an uncle who taught him the trade. He also plants corn and sorghum for family consumption and for feeding the animals in the summer. This he learned from his father and his grandfather.

He needs the funding in order to purchase a box of tools for repairing vehicles, as now that he has more experience, some neighbors and friends want him to do special jobs. In this way he will have additional income in order to give his family a better quality of life.

Carlos dreams of having his own shop and supporting his children in education, so that they may pursue better opportunities in life.
