San Pedro El Naranjo Group's story

Juan is 51 years old, married, has three children and lives with his family in the municipality of Intibuca. He has always been dedicated to growing coffee and has more than 21 years of growing his own crop. He grows good quality coffee crops in his own land and sells it in the local market.

He requests his third loan in a group to buy manure, foliar feeding and fertilizers to apply to his crop. His goal is to improve his production to have a higher income. His goal is to have greater economic stability with the profits he gets from his crop.

Juan belongs to the group called "San Pedro el naranjo", which is formed by 4 members, all living in the same community and engaged in agriculture. The group loan is for 26,500 lempiras which they will invest in the purchase of manure, fertilizers and cleaning costs for their coffee crop.
