A loan helped a member to buy more solar panels and transport them.

Kanoni Twetungure Group's story

Allen is an old mother of 12. She deals in the supply of solar panels in her community. She started the business to create income and also meet the need for lighting and clean energy in her community. She has applied for a facility with UGAFODE MDI worth UGX 1,500,000 to enable her to pay for solar panels and hire a van to transport her simple solar panels from her suppliers to the place she does the sales. Through this, she will provide power for both lighting and cooking to the people in her community. Allen is very grateful to Kiva partners and hopes to be a beneficiary.
