Jairo's story

My name is Jairo, owner of Jairo Home Builder, LLC located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I was born and raised as a child in a small village near the city of Irapuato, Guanajuato Mexico. My dad was contracted to come and work in the USA, received his permanent residence card, and then migrated our family here for a better future. I graduated from Farmington High School locally and from an early age, I always enjoyed creating things. Thus, I got a full-time job after graduation in order to pay to attend a local technical school in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) to learn Architecture Drafting Technology, all while still keeping my part-time job at the local optical lab. I knew that what I wanted when I was young was still my adult career path choice: to build in the construction industry. I have held different jobs since then learning everything I could from each one whether it has been customer service, basic framing, grading, plumbing, electrical, or any other area that pertained to any residential construction need. Most recently I have been busy working for a major construction company locally building multiple new homes and doing remodels in NWA the past 12 years because NWA is one of the top growing areas of the US now with over 500,000 residents today. Growing up with two older brothers and three sisters in a new place for all of us not knowing the lifestyle and the language was a struggle, but it has been for the best and made us strong and resilient. Now I have a young family of my own, and I want them to know that knowledge is the key to success, as my parents taught me and that business ownership is a dream they can attain.
