Tuzamurane Cb Group's story

Jeannette is a 48-year-old mother of four children aged between 17 and 28 years old. Her husband is a farmer and for the past 10 years she has been selling African fabrics.

She is the leader of the group called Tuzamurane Cb, which in English means “let's grow together." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeannette will use her loan to buy more African fabrics to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to provide for her family medical insurance and also provide support in paying school fees for her children.

She is thankful for your support.

Noye: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph Jeannette as a representative of the group.
