Terimbere Tcb Group

Terimbere Tcb Group's story

Clementine is a 35-year-old mother with three children, between the ages of 1 and 8. Her husband is a farmer. For the past two years, she has owned a grocery store.

Clementine is the leader of the group named Terimbere TCB which, in English, means “Be Developed”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Clementine will use her loan to buy more sugar, cooking oil, and soap to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to pay for the school fees for her children and put away some savings.

She is thankful for the support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the group members but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
