Uamsho Nyawera Group

Uamsho Nyawera Group's story

Mrs. Justine is a client of the Hekima MFI and she is the leader of the Uamsho Nyawera Group. She is 51 years old, married and the mother of 8 children who are all in school. Her partner is a carpenter. She sells food products. She started her business in 2000 with start-up funds that she received from her husband. Later on, she relied on the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown well.

With this new loan, she wants to buy rice, flour, oil, potatoes and beans in order to consolidate her initial capital. The challenge she faces in her business is the amount of unpaid debts.

She would like to see her children pursue their education and to expand her business. She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who cannot access bank funding in this context of global crisis resulting from Covid-19. The picture only shows the leader of the group due to compliance with Covid-19 social distancing measures.

In this group: Munyerenkana, Baderhakuguma, Ndaya, Binja, Odette, Justine, Eugenie, Issa, Nankafu, Nakamuke, Furaha, Borauzima, Elisee, Rose
