Tupiganishe Group's story

Yvette is a client of Hekima IMF and is the president of the "Tupiganishe" groupe villageoise. She is 36 years old, married and is the mother of five children who all go to school. Her spouse is a driver.

She sells clothing. She started this enterprise in 2016 with start-up funds she received from her husband. She later joined the Hekima program to support her business during which time she has been evolving progressively. With this new loan she will stock up on bras, dresses and underwear to enhance her initial capital. The challenge in her business lies in the competition in the market.

She wants her children to continue to study and wants to develop her business. Finally she wishes to thank Hekima and it's partners for the support provided to unbanked business owners in the context of the worldwide crisis brought about by COVID-19. The photo is of the group leader only respecting social distancing protocol for COVID-19.
