06_Keur Serigne Bara Group's story

This group is composed of 6 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual aid. They live in the same neighborhood and seized the opportunity to join the "banc villageois" when it was established in the locality in December 2008. Their main business is small-scale trade.

Mrs. Khady Ndame (standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised) is the representative of the group. She is 37 years old. She is married and does not have any children. She sells fabric and shoes. She has experience in this business for having practiced it for several years.

With this new loan, she plans to buy fabrics and shoes in Dakar to resell them to her customers.

With the profits, she plans to develop her business, strengthen her savings, and provide for her needs.

In this group: Khayta, Aminata, Khady Ndame, Soukeyna, Bintou Wahbine, Fatou
