A loan of $2,375 helps to buy cattle to increase her income from sales of organic meat.
This wonderful woman is Nurzada. She is 48 years old, married and raising three children. She has a high school education. She has been farming and raising cattle since 1995 and that is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Nurzada's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, today she has 7cows and 1.1 hectares of irrigated land, where she grows organic hay, rice and barley.
To further develop her farm, Nurzada is asking for support from the Kiva Fund in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS). This will enable her to buy more livestock to increase her income from sales of organic meat. The proceeds of the loan will help her to expand her farm by increasing her herd of thoroughbred livestock.
