A loan helped To pay for the maintenance of his tricycle.

Carlos's story

Carlos is encouraged and more than glad for Kiva's support on his livelihood. His previous loan really helped maintain safe and efficient performance of his tricycle which gave his stable income to provide for their needs. He hopes he could again borrow an amount of Php 19000 to pay for the needed maintenance and some accessories for his tricycle. Despite his age he continues to drive his tricycle to support their daily and household needs. His transportation business means a lot to him for it has been his livelihood for twenty years already. Carlos hopes to acquire another tricycle to improve his income and save for their senior years. He prays for good health and abundant life. He faithfully meets up with his co-fellowship members to share stories of his work every week and where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the word of God he studies. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital and pay Micro finance loans.
