Phanice's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a solar light and get access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for maize cultivation.
Phanice's Group's story
Phanice is the 37-year-old mother of five children who is also very hardworking and the leader of a loan group made up of 14 farmers. Since joining the One Acre Fund in 2014, she has earned more profits from each harvest. Her harvest was good last year, but she believes can have an even better one this year by continuing to work with the One Acre Fund. She is very excited to be buying a solar light, fertilizer and maize, because she will now be able to have light at night that her children can use to study. She will use the profits she makes from this harvest to send her children to school. This loan will also allow her group to plant a total of six acres of land and buy eleven solar lights.
