Twitezimbere-Gakoro Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped To expand her business by purchasing a large quantity of bananas for sale.

Twitezimbere-Gakoro Group's story

Scholastique is 33 years old and is married with three children. She has owned and operated a business selling bananas. Due to the success of her business and her experience paying back loans with VFC, Scholastique has been nominated as the leader of Twitezimbere-Gakoro Group. In the picture of the group, she is the in the sitting position, wearing pink head gear.

A typical day for Scholastique begins at 6 a.m., when she opens her storefront. She remains there until she sells her daily inventory. If business is not good on a particular day, she will close her storefront at 5 p.m. Her business and marketing plan are well organized as she has received business training from VFC over the past several years.

Scholastique has requested a loan from Kiva lenders through Vision Finance Company in order to purchase bananas to sell. With the profits from this loan, she will be able to get medical insurance for her family, pay school fees for her children, get enough food for her family, and save for her future.
