Nua Ngam 19 Group's story
Mrs. Viet, 28, is Kho Mu ethnic lady who has been married and become the mother of a boy and a girl at the age of 9 and 5. She lives with her husband and her two children in a small house at a remote village. They mainly rely on agricultural production for a living with several activities such as growing rice, cassava, corn and raising chicken.
Currently, the sanitation condition of her family is very poor so she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em Program to build a toilet to improve the family's hygiene situation. She will use the income from farming and animal breeding to repay the loan and she hopes that the new toilet will protect her family's health from diseases. Mrs. Viet dreams that her children will grow healthily and will have a bright future. In the picture, she wears a red shirt and stands on the first line, at the first from the right.
