Hermes Manuel's story

Hermes is a 41-year-old single father. He lives in his own rustic house with his minor son in
in Santo Tomás district, Cutervo province, Cajamarca department, Perú. He has very good business and work references from area residents. Locals work primarily in agriculture, business, and ranching.

Hermes works in agriculture, specifically growing the Catimor variety of coffee, which is resistant to diseases and infestations. His plantation, currently 4 hectares, is flowering and healthy. He has six years of industry experience. In addition, he raises small animals (chickens, guinea pigs, and others) and grows basic food crops (yucca, bananas, taro).

The purpose of the loan is to invest in maintaining and growing one hectare of coffee in production, ensuring good production in the 2016 season. This will be reflected in a greater volume of sales and thus a higher income and better quality of life for himself and his family.
