Abishyizehamwe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more food products such as potatoes and bananas.

Abishyizehamwe Group's story

Marie Claire is a 50-year-old woman. She is married with two children aged 12 and 16 years old. Marie Claire was elected to become president of the group Abishyizehamwe. She can be found (in the picture) on the second right at the back wearing a red dress and holding a book. She operates a food stall business and has requested for Kiva loan in order to expand her business by buying more food items such as potatoes, maize, bananas, onions, tomatoes and beans. With the profits that she will get after expanding her business, she will be able to continue paying school fees for her children and buy enough food for her family. She also hopes in five years she will be able to renovate her house so that she will be able to have better shelter, most especially for her children.
