Antonia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to have a 165-liter solar refrigeration system installed.
Mrs. Antonia is married and has five children. She is a housewife and also works in agriculture and livestock with her children and husband. When she was a girl, she was in school until the second grade, but she stopped attending classes because the school was too large and when it rained it was difficult to get to. Two of her children are working in the United States, and they send her money to buy livestock and invest in the farm. Because there is no electric light in the community where Mrs. Antonia lives, she is asking for a loan to buy a solar refrigeration system, which will be installed in the house. She wants a refrigerator because sometimes she makes curds and cream, which spoils if it’s not refrigerated quickly. Also when she makes drinks, she has to drink them warm, but with a refrigerator she could have them cold. Finally, she could keep the vaccines for the livestock frozen and keep the lactose products and meat at a better temperature. It’s for these reasons she would be very grateful if given the opportunity to take a loan and purchase this refrigerator, which would be such a valuable addition to her home.
