Agriculture Students I Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a bicycle and spare parts to visit farmers and earn wages for agricultural assistance and delivery of fertilizers.
Agriculture Students I Group's story
In Mozambique, less than 20% of people have a secondary education. Mário, however, is passionate about agriculture and have achieved a placement in higher education at an agricultural institute in rural, southern Mozambique. His education also includes acting as extension workers, so he can earn some income to provide for their families as well. Mário and his colleagues will visit farmers in the region and bring them important materials like chemicals and fertilizers, and provide advice on how to improve their crops. The more farmers they can visit each week, the more they earn. With a bicycle, they can each visit two times the farmers and double their weekly incomes.
