Leonidas's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase oxen and potato seeds in order to increase her production and improve her family's quality of life.

Leonidas's story

Mrs. Leonidas lives in a rural area. Her home is rustic with Spanish tile roofing and lacks some basic services. She is hardworking and very optimistic. She works every day to obtain income for her own livelihood.

She makes a living primarily in agriculture. She has been in this trade for approximately 30 years, where she produces and sells her products at weekly regional markets. What she obtains, she takes to sell in the provincial markets of the region and nearby towns. The main products that she plants are potatoes in large quantities, and beans, barley, and others in lesser quantities, generally for her own consumption.

Mrs. Leonidas is in need of applying for a loan for the purchase of a pair of oxen and potato seeds, so as to be able to increase her production and to improve the quality of her life. She is a person of little means and lots of enthusiasm to succeed despite not counting on support from her husband, who died six years ago, but that does not stop her from moving forward.
