Gbotima Group's story

This is 40-year-old Abubakarr, who is married with four children. His children are all school-going children.

Abubakarr belongs to a solidarity group of two women and three men who have come together to complement each other to achieve their individual dreams. “Gbotima” is the name of Abubakarr’s solidarity group.

“Gbotima” group needs a total loan of 14,500,000 SLL. Abubakarr will receive 4,500,000 SLL, which he needs in order to purchase cartons of slippers, African dresses, etc., for his business.

Abubakarr established his slippers and dresses business 13 years ago; he established the business to ensure his family gets enough money for their basic needs. Abubakarr uses the profit from this business to provide a livelihood for his family and support his children’s education. He opens his business Monday through Saturday every week. Abubakarr is a hardworking man; he opens his business from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In the future, Abubakarr plans to support his children to acquire a university education. He hopes that one day he will become an international businessman. He thanks you for supporting them.
