Khoeun's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizer to increase productivity of her crop yield, so that she can earn more income to spend on healthcare service for her beloved child and save for future needs.

Khoeun's Group's story

A widowed woman whose name is Khoeun, is 46 years old and resides in a wooden house located in Tbaung Khmum province’s Dambae district. She has a dependent child. Rice farming has been the main source of her income for ages. To earn more income, she has also been raising pigs to sell. She is able to save around 5 USD each day after expenses. Recently, her rice crop was not growing well, which returned lower outputs, and her pigs are also getting sick. These are the main challenges for her business.

Khoeun has been with VisionFund for three cycles already and she repaid her previous loans successfully. With the past loans, she could better afford to buy consumer goods. Now she is leading a group of two to apply for a new loan in order to buy fertilizer to increase productivity of her crop yield and the remaining money will be spent on buying piglets. She hopes to gain more output from her farming business, so that she can earn more income to spend on healthcare services for her beloved child and save for future needs.
