A loan helped to buy thyme and special pepper chopping machines to develop her business production.

Wadad's story

Wadad is a 44-year-old married mother of four. She is a Palestinian refugee, who lives and works in a refugee camp seeking a better income business to develop her family's living.

Wadad used to work in selling clothes, but six years ago she decide to switch to a daily living need business, so she decided to work in mouneh production and selling, which she can run from her house and improve her family's living. (Mouneh is a traditional way of preserving foods.)

Wadad has a good idea about mouneh production since her mother was skilled in this production and she taught her and she developed her skills.
She is improving her production skills since she is getting good experience in her domain.

To increase her production and decrease the time needed to finish her work, she is requesting a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to buy thyme and special pepper chopping machines to develop her business production.

She hopes to stay capable of developing her family's living and increasing their income.
