Combattant La Grenade's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase 24 sacks of beans to sell.

Combattant La Grenade's story

Missalene lives in Carrefour, a known neighborhood where 20,000 rural people are located. According to state statistics, that place has more than 58% of the women living in poverty. Missalene is one of them. However, she is fighting to improve her living. To achieve that, she is involved in a group of 30 people, mostly women. She helps them with savings.

Today she is applying for a loan to purchase beans to retail. With that loan, each woman will generate at least $4 per sack daily. Apart from that, Missalene will encourage the women to attend a literacy program and other non-financial services from Zafen.
