Iborooga Abagambakamu Group's story

Pauline, age 31, is a mother of three children. She is a hard-working and married woman, living in Kyenjojo, Uganda.

Pauline deals in a produce business, where she sells a variety of products, like beans and rice, among others, depending on the season.

To supplement her income, she does farming, where she has reaped more income to sustain her family. She is challenged by seasonality changes, in addition to price fluctuations of produce.

Pauline’s dream is to become a leading produce dealer in her area, with a well-stocked produce store.

Pauline is guaranteed by Iborooga Abagambakamu Group members to get a loan which she will use to buy more produce to sell, like maize and beans.
