Agnes's story

Agnes is a 33-year-old smallholder farmer based in Kerugoya, which is a small agricultural center near Mount Kenya. She owns a small piece of land together with her husband, and they have been blessed with three children. On the land, they have kept dairy cattle and grown maize for five years.

From Kiva lenders, Agnes is seeking a loan worth KES 40,000 to buy seeds and grow her horticulture business.
