Arshad's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build new classrooms to accommodate the large number of students.

Arshad's story

Arshad is a 32-year-old ambitious school owner who started a community school in the year 2012. His aim is to contribute to the literacy rate of his community and make education available to more students than those who are currently enrolled in schools.

Once his school was open, it drew attention in the eyes of many community members and the enrollment increased rapidly. Today there are 538 students in his school, more than 40% of whom are females. Due to the recent increase in enrollment level, his school now lacks the capacity to hold such a large number of students. Trying to accommodate the large number of students, Arshad has requested a loan of 150,000 PKR to build new classrooms. Arshad says, "This will not only help me increase space in the school but will also allow me to enroll additional students in the future."
