A loan helped to buy phone accessories for her shop.

Hadil's story

Hadil is a recently married young woman who lives in Beirut with her husband, a soldier in the Lebanese army. She is 25 years old with an entrepreneurial mind, which pushed her to establish her own business in early 2014, a shop that sells mobile phones, recharge cards and phone accessories. The shop allows her to support her household's income, especially that she opened it in a busy street of Beirut.

For the first time, Hadil is asking for a 1,543,658 Lebanese pounds loan from Kiva partner Ibdaa. She is planning on using the loan to buy a large quantity of phone accessories and sell them in her shop. She is hoping that increasing her supplies will have a direct impact on her sales and income.

Hadil runs her business alone and it has been performing well since she opened it, which allowed her to start building a good reputation in the area.
