Ramatoulaye's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy five bags of various fruits, seven bags of millet, seven bags of maize, and other condiments for the preparation of couscous.

Ramatoulaye's Group's story

This group was created in September 2013 during the inauguration of the Banc Villageois. It consists of women who, for the most part, have acquired a great deal of experience in small retail business, which happens to be their main activity. Ramatoulaye (standing at the far right in the photo, and raising her hand) is the group's featured borrower. She is 33 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She sells seasonal products and couscous. She intends to use her loan to buy five bags of various fruits, seven bags of millet, seven bags of maize, and other condiments for the preparation of couscous. She will use her profits to pay for her children's education, healthcare needs, and to buy them clothes.
