Grupo Cumes Group's story

Antonia is a 34-year-old woman. She is single with a 17-year-old daughter, who is still studying. This family lives in a community in the village of Santa Catarina Palopó.

Antonia (the one located in the middle of the three members), with the ambition to gain income and get her family ahead, earns a living making traditional clothing. She has been in this business for 5 years. She likes this business since she carries it out from the comfort of her home, thus allowing her to do other things in other homes that also earn her an income.

Antonia has thought about preparing a lot of product for the end of the year, which is approaching, in order to take better advantage of this time. But one of her major difficulties is not having enough money. For that reason, she is requesting a new loan in order to buy silk, embroidery, alpaca, and other kinds of threads.

Antonia hopes to be able to have her own shop for her business and improve her family's quality of life.
